How often does seedvault auto backup?

Asking as I installed graphene 2 days ago and configured seedvault but it hasnt performed a backup automatically yet. I also dont see a setting anywhere related to backup frequency.

treequell hmm I haven't seen it do it in 2 days. seedvault doth seem to be a mystery.

Seedvault is known to be very buggy. Please take care of the most important data yourself, e.g. by regularly making manual backups of the DCIM & Downloads folders, your exported contacts (preferably as a .vcf file) and your Signal backup. You will be a happier person.

To echo what @Alex said and for what it's worth, I haven't once had a successful seedvault backup/restore. It's incredibly buggy. I'm patiently awaiting GOS' in house implementation.

I use nextcloud to backup my photos, contacts, and calendar and syncthing for anything else. Been a very smooth experience between factory resets.

it seems to help a lot to use davx and webdav as a backup path (which can connect to nextcloud itself), instead of nextcloud directly. https://github.com/seedvault-app/seedvault/issues/513

But yeah, I hope the native solution will be more stable.
