Best flashing method from Ubuntu and Fedora

The WebUSB did not work for me and there was no way to discover root cause so I opted for CLI. The CLI method has highlighted commands which must be pasted into a shell window. I find this tedious since everybody who wants to use the CLI method has to type the same stuff. We become copy-paste monkeys. I wrote a script instead. It has macros to declare strings that may change or that repeat. For example, PNAME="flame" so $PNAME represents the frequently mentioned device name whatever it may be. I tested the script on Ubuntu, Xubuntu 23.04, and Fedora38 XFCE.

My concern with such an approach is that the install guides do regularly change and get updated and your flashing script is unlikely to be maintained in accordance with that.

The only recommended ways to install GrapheneOS are the official install guides. The web installer is recommended over the CLI installer, since it's easier to use, and there's less that can go wrong.
