How to delete an empty file

I interrupted the download of a pdf file cause it took too long. Now I've an empty pdf file in my GOS download folder which I can't delete. It doesn't even show up when I connect the mobile with my computer.

Any idea how I can delete this empty file?

I know. I want to get rid of it :-) Its there, empty and I can't delete it.

[deleted] it's a bug with the Downloads tag. Have a look in the Download folder, and you'll notice that the file has already been deleted.

6 days gone. The empty file is stile visible in the files overview. Any other idea how to remove it?

Yes, several times. I even switched it off.

Read it. Now its seven days on my phone.

[deleted] It's an upstream bug with the Files app from AOSP. The file has been deleted, it's just the filename that remains visible only when looking at the Downloads tag. I'm afraid I don't have any other suggestions, other than waiting for it to disappear.

I tried this. The file is still there. But when I click on ot now it opens the GOS pdf app. Before it showed an error message. But still there.
