Recently, I caught my brother browsing some less than trustworthy sites for piracy of online paid NSFW content. Could this somehow impact our home network?

I am unfortunately not well versed in networking, so I thought I would ask this question on a forum where some users might be. Thanks in advance.

CutStandard8309 I can't speak for online paid NSFW content, but I do know ISPs will send a letter to their customer warning them about piracy. Verizon once did that when a buddy's younger brother downloaded tons of music, movies and TV shows from ThePirateBay. Their Dad brought the wrath of God down on his brother when Verizon threatened to shut off their internet.

Thanks for your reply, I'm aware of this, but I don't think the companies behind this stuff (like OnlyFans) have the power to influence ISP's. Moreover, where I'm from, ISP's sending piracy warnings isn't really known to happen.
