Hi all, I just got my new pixel 7 and I am trying to install graphene, everything was going well then when installing flashing factory images the connection dropped, now when I’m attempting again it says “no compatible devices found”
What should I do? Thank you in advance! :)

You need to provide more information. What OS and web browser are you using? If you're using Windows, you need to install the fastboot drivers which are required.

[deleted] sorry I’m a noob at this! I’m on a Mac and using google chrome. Could it just be a cable issue?

[deleted] what fastboot drivers do we need to install? I have the same issue
when I connect the USB cable to the laptop it shows the pixel phone up, I'm not sure it is a cable issue for me
and when I click on unlock bootloader it shows the no compatible devices found error

I have Windows 11, and Pixel 6A
I tried on 3 different browsers, brave, microsoft edge and chrome and 2 different USB C cables
I don't have the original cable of the phone because it didn't come with one.

Freckles222 Yeah, it could be a cable issue. Are you using the USB-C to USB-C cable that came with your Pixel 7?

treequell it’s just a cable I found laying around my house.. my new pixel didn’t come with the right cable.. probably a bad move on my part

Freckles222 I suggest using a different cable than the one you are using currently. Ideally use the factory USB-C to USB-C cable from Google, but other high quality cables should be fine too.

There is no harm done, just connect the phone with a different cable, and then flash release again.

treequell thank you, I have ordered one now, will try again tomorrow. Do I have to start the install from the beginning again?
At the moment it’s stuck in the boot loader unlocked screen

Freckles222 If the download doesn't persist in your Chrome browser site data, then you'll need to start from download release. If it does, you can proceed immediately to flash release.

Freckles222 You're in the bootloader interface (fastboot mode), which is correct, but sometimes it needs a restart to get itself in order.

Try restarting the phone into the bootloader interface, and try again.

treequell how do I restart the phone when it’s in the mode? Sorry I’ve only ever used IOS before

Freckles222 Press the volume down button until you see the option to 'restart into the bootloader interface'. When you see that, press the power button to select it.

LostPhoenix Hi there, the instructions to install the fastboot drivers on Windows are given here: https://grapheneos.org/install/web#connecting-device.

Make sure you follow all the steps preceding that too; your phone will need to be in the bootloader interface for a start.
