Apps using gmaps APIs

Hi everyone! I'm not logged into my GOS powered pixel, with any gaccounts and some apps with integrated maps (like car sharing for example), cannot render it. I understand it's because these uses google maps APIs and because I'm not logged. I don't understand why gmaps app work without login and these not. Anyway, I'm ask you if anyone, not lohhed like me, found a workaround.

I kinda have the same question, namely for sending my location via Signal. Does anyone have a workaround for this? Please let me know!

It seems that for the integrated google maps to work you need to have play services installed, but at least for me signing in to google was not necessary.

@"imbatman"#p40741like you, I've the play services installed and not logged and it doesn't work, but of you are saying with this configuration, the other apps with gmaps integrated works, so there is a settings for the system or the app. Are you sure you don't set any toggle or other thing that could enable that?

The native Google Maps app doesn't use the Google Maps API, it works without Google Play Services.

For apps that do use the Google Play Services API, make sure you have all Google Play Services, Google Play Store and Google Services Framework installed, and that they all have the network permission enabled. You don't need to be signed into a Google account to use the Google Play Services API.

Found the problem!
The solution: package Google Services Network
The Network access was avoided, enabling it, the problem was solved! Now the car sharing app works!
