Ungoogled CHROMIUM

Dear all,

I am using Vanadium as well as ungoogled Chromium as web browsers. The later is available in the Aurora DROID.

Now I can export my passwd ta file or to an email. It was a bit confusing. K9mail makes this a a bit clearer.
Now my question is, how can I import settings or passwords in VANADIUM or in ungoogled CHROMIUM.

I am not yet using online sync systems, like it is suggested by FENNEC for example. In Linux Desktop application this is a common process. Does anyone have a good suggestion for me?

mikesh I have no good answer to your question, but Aurora Droid has not been updated in over 2 years and seems abandoned and therefore unsecure. Alternative appstores for the FDroid repository (and Izzy, Bitwarden etc.) would be Droid-ify which has a nice design and experience or Neo Store which comes with more functionality such as an "Update All" button. Or you could try setting up Obtainium which will give you access to even more sources for APK files.

PS: I am talking about my Graphene OS phone which I am setting up from scratch - on my old Pixel Device I used Calyx OS - thats why I need to shift data.

Or move over to KeePass for passwords and sync the database file between devices with Syncthing. With KeePass you can fill inn passwords in other apps aswell, not just browser websites.

KeePassXD will probably get more functions than KeePass2Android over time, but who knows what of that will be locked behind the paywall edition.

So in my Linux desktop I creat a html file for cookmarks and merge it. Simple. offline. clean.
Why is it not possible with android??

I think Vanadium is secure to keep autofill passwords but personally I prefer offline mode for my passwords. I use keepassXc in linux and keepassDc in android and the encrypted file with the passwords stored in USB. So whenever I need to login to some website I plug the usb in linux/android and use keepass to copy the password.

Lion I don't think that's what's he's talking about.. but even if he was then your argument is still invalid. The only app that has access to the clipboard is the one that you gave it access to and even that is sandboxed. So in this case the one that would have access to the clipboard is the keyboard app you use and then the app you paste it to I guess none of the rest. Now I'm not an expert per se but logically that's how I believe it works. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think so. I believe they are referring to the ability to save your passwords in Vanadium itself.
