Critical Security Error

Hey all Graphene guys. There seems to be very critical error after the newest Graphene update! It needs to immediately be fixed as it give me almost heart attack this early morning. I use Graphene > more than one year and not had this issue. I upgrade to latest 0808 version and now on a user profile I was able to open it with my fingerprint!!!! I had almost heart attack I know I don't ever allow that thing so I go in setting and check and yes it is true I have fingerprint unlock disable!!! I only use it for apps not phone unlock but suddenly my phone unlock with my fingerprint and didn't require password !! Oh my man this is so bad and scary it need to be urgently fix I am scared now because the phone unlock with my fingerprint it is not suppose to happen like that it always need my password beforehand but today only fingerprint and I have fingerprint unlock disable!!!

CriticalError there's been a lot of lock screen issues lately. I had some , only thing that fixed it was installing stock android then reinstalling grapheneos. I'm guessing there's some bad data somewhere that an update just won't fix . its drastic but worked .

That sounds very concerning if its true, it definitely should not be happening, what phone do you have?

It true really and scare me. I using 7 Pro. It not safe for me to use phone like this if can unlock with my finger. I make sure not use fingerprint unlock but I see fingerprint icon on my lockscreen so I put finger on it and it open the phone again!! It happen some 3 times today but not everytime it so weird

Please refer to the issue tracker and look for existing filed issues in the future, as that can save a lot of time.

This is an upstream issue which will likely have to be addressed upstream.

matchboxbananasynergy Yes I see it before but this problem didnt happen until new update before i always using my profile all time and no fingerprint icon appear or never unlock now after new update it is unlocking with fingerprint i think there is error somewhere can you investigate this

No, but in all seriousness, something likely changed in what you were doing that started causing this, because this upstream bug, as you can see, has been around for a bit. it's not a new thing.
