I'm glad graphene now allows call recording, but it's still manual and easy to forget. Until they create an automated option, I find this FOSS app works great for all earpiece, speaker calls & Whatsapp! Note: on Bluetooth, it will only record your side. Here are the suggested settings that work on a pixel pro with graphene os:

  • recording source: voice recognition
  • Grant accessibility privileges
  • activate checkbox in main menu & agree to all other permissions
  • choose .ogg stereo for best quality/size. (The perk is it separates you and caller into L-R, in case you want to boost their side later in an audio editor)
  • disable battery optimization to keep app running
  • optionally, you activate the after-call dialog for pop-up to delete recordings you don't want after each call
    Enjoy
