Pixel 7 having freezing issues and black screen issues

Been using GrapheneOS for a bit, and it seems that randomly my Pixel 7's screen will freeze and be unable to be changed, but if I touch the power button it still is on.

Additionally, sometimes the screen will turn black and still vibrate when touching the power button, but will not have anything on the screen.

This started happening when I updated about a week ago.

Please help!

Have you tried restarting your phone? Sometimes the phone can't get into weird states and a restart can fix it

I've restarted it each time, it's gotten more frequent as of late though.

I have no idea why this keeps happening.

TheBlueTtdle One thing to check is that you haven't disabled any pre-installed apps from the OS.

It could also be a hardware issue with your device unfortunately.

You do have the option of submitting a bug report to the GrapheneOS development team. Immediately after the crash occurs, enable developer options and generate a bug report. Ask if one of the developers would be happy to look through the bug report for you https://matrix.to/#/#testi ng:grapheneos.org. Avoid sharing the bug report publicly, as it can contain PII.
