Urgent - App opening times and other logs

I'm in need of some urgent help.

I opened session messenger at 5 today and texted someone, then around 9 when i opened it again i noticed that the conversation history had been scrolled up till july 27 or june 27.

i got suspicious, i was at my friends, my phone is locked but session isnt, i got up to use restroom a few times so im worried if they unlocked it somehow at that time and read the conversation, those conversations are very private.

the problem is, i tried using logcat to print older logs but it only goes an hour before and not any older. small log buffer by default!
i need to know if session app was opened between 5 and 9, please guide me in getting any and all logs possible. im on grapeheneos, pixel 4a5g.

also the session app is pretty janky on android since last update and scrolling up takes a little while so im not sure if anyone with a 3 4 minutes window can scroll up that much. especially while reading the conversation.
so im hoping its a bug and others have experienced it as well. ive asked around in session communities but no luck so far.

please please share your tips. thank you!

vector if you didn't scroll up that far, someone else likely did.

If your phone was locked as in the lock screen how were they able to go on your Session app?

For the past few days Ive noticed the power button doesnt work sometimes. It might be that when i placed my phone down and left to use the restroom it didnt get locked. or they might've used some other way to get in since my prints are all over their place.

The conversation may have been scrolled up if you accidentally moved it with your fingers at anytime and just forgot about it and also if your phone was unlocked in your pocket it could of caused it to scroll up on the conversation. Next time always make sure and verify that your phone is locked if you have dangerous or important conversations. I have never used Session before but does it allow Fingerprint Unlock or something like that? Would be useful in your case.

Thank you, and yes it does support app locking.
The problem is that it cant scroll that far up with just an accidental finger swipe. And phone locks itself after 2 minutes.

Can someone with android development knowledge please help clarify that? im trying to contact the post author as well.

Hi there. You could have a look at the privacy dashboard in Settings > Privacy. That tells you which apps accessed which permissions in the past 24 hours. If any permissions were accessed between 5 and 9, that could possibly indicate that somebody had access to your device during that period of time. Although, do check that those permissions wouldn't have been accessed in the background anyway.

Great idea!
Unfortunately I've not given session any permissions that show up there. Except photos and videos which is doesn't show the exact times for.
It would've helped more if someone called through session etc as well but I'm afraid they only scrolled up.

The issue is now resolved, fortunately on a good end.

I followed the aforementioned method of getting app usage statistics and got all the app usage logs for past 2 days and confirmed that session app was not used during that time period.
