orbot VPN mode doesn't work

Orbot in general is very buggy and prone to crashes, but non-VPN mode typically connects after a few attempts.

VPN-mode however, never does.

VPN-mode is very useful, though. Has anyone figured out why it won't work? Is this specific to graphene?

I found old bug reports on their repo that mention incompatible ROMs breaking it.

ptdrfaw Is another VPN enabled at the moment you're trying to enable Orbot's VPN? I encountered a similar issue myself. I had to disable the actual VPN and them Orbot could be able to register its own.

St3gm4 The problem with this app is that it's Firefox based and thus has poor security. If you are going to use it make sure to keep JavaScript off.
