I'm trying to connect mt Pixel 7a to the Wi-Fi network at my university which is the eduroam network. It works by using the 'geteduroam'-app (https://www.geteduroam.app/), then entering your credentials/network details after which it saves the network configured to connect to the eduroam network with your personal login.
The problem is, the network that is generated by this app is apparently invalid on GOS. The network saved is using PEAP, MSCHAPv2, and an eduroam CA certificate.. all good so far. But then we get to the domain: the domain is blank. It's supposed to be blank! But this is invalid according to the edit form on GOS!? Why??
Also this is a community wiki from my uni that shows a valid config: https://www.matfystutor.dk/wiki/Kom_p%C3%A5_nettet
Security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)
Anonymous identity: <blank>
Domain: <blank>
CA certificate: Vælg filen ~/.eduroam/au.pem
CA certificate password: <blank>
No CA certificate is required: Ikke slået til
PEAP version: Automatic
Inner authentication: MSCHAPv2
Username: auXXXXXX@uni.au.dk
Password: <dit password>
The domain is supposed to be blank, but it's illegal on GOS for some reason.. if anybody has any clue what's going on I would really appreciate some help trying to figure this out. It's insanely frustrating to not be allowed on the uni wifi, especially when you're just one config entry away..
