Always coming from upstream AOSP, or Android, hitherto never from GrapheneOS , and they nominally keep being unstable in their nature performing differing unreliable things ,
Promise an option to the user not easily achieved by going standard UI.
Gives user a sense of being a 'Power User', with 'backstage and not just groupie' kind of informed access to how security really works.
Never ever in a single instance and I've looked for it for years, any warning whatsoever about the hazards. These people aren't bayesans, you do the enabling, then you're on your own demises no matter how obfuscated the clues and warnings.
