Any way to reverse developer mode?

cgro0550 Yes. There's a toggle you can disable.

cgro0550 Open Settings > System > Developer options > Disable developer options. You will be asked to restart your phone to disable it. If you don't see developer options in Settings > System, then you have developer options disabled already.

Am I understanding correctly: There is no way, except for reinstalling the OS and manualy changing the toggles, to restore/reset/reverse/change the state of the developer settings back to the OS defaults?
And by disabling developer settings you are not disabling any changes that were made to the defaults but only removing the menu?

But for some others of them: No

That is one of the reasons support gets difficult when users messes with these settings.

Silver and to your first question, yes. If unsure about the state of affairs, you should factory reset and then keep those settings OFF.
