Auto-Connect Wifi

Hello, is the feature Auto-connect to known Wifis on any future roadmap?
I know it's a bit more complicated and needs some location services probably. Just wanted to ask.

Thanks, but that post is a year old and I was well aware that some form of location provider is needed.
Maybe most crucial features already shipped since these 12 months and the Devs would consider adding Auto-Connect to the roadmap.

Auto-Connect combined with 'Turn off Wi-Fi automatically' is such a nice quality of life feature.

Reading between the lines, I think setting up a foundation, getting the tablet supported quickly upon release, and increasing privacy via contact scopes, among other things, have been keeping people busy.

I've been getting around this with an app from F-Droid, "Automation" by Jens Schröder.

WiFi turns off after 10 minutes of not being connected to anything.

Everyday, a task runs between 5PM and 12AM every 30 minutes to turn WiFi back on.
On Saturday and Sunday another task that does the same thing from 9AM to 5PM.

Works for me.

You can turn WiFi off in seeting after a set amount of time. I have it set to turn off after 2 minutes of not being connected
