It seems that my P6p gyroscope has gone haywire, I thought it was a bug, but nobody has reported it yet, and the phone got a few hard drops in the car that may have messed up it up.
I have never experienced this with any of my previous phones.
According to CPU-z the affected sensors seem to be:
(just showing random numbers, even when stationary)
- Orientation sensor
- LSM6DSR gyroscope (only y-axis so far)
- Gravity sensor
- linear acceleration sensor
- Game rotation vector sensor.
Basically almost all sensors, luckily it still detects rotation.
The main issue for me is video, it is absolutely unusable with EIS, I can disable it in GCAM, but not system wide.
Is there a way to disable EIS for all apps?, because the camera is currently unusable in-app, and video calls look like there is an earthquake going on.
Other apps are affected too, G Maps can no longer locate where I'm looking, just endlessly turning and then gives up on it, GCam Tilt detection is broken too.
