Can someone help me please?

I tried to install Graphene OS on my Google Pixel 7a Pro. I used the newest Debian 11 with the Brave Browser.

After unlocking the oem Mode and the Developer Mode, i connected the device on the laptop and restarted the Mobile in the fastboot mode. The unlocking of the bootloader worked and so i began to install the graphene os after downloading it.

Unfortunately i made a big mistake - after the fastbootd screen presented me the option to restart the device, i restarted it and i was tought that graphene os was sucessfully installed. A progress Bar was not showed, otherwise i had never restarted the device while in the background the install was proceeding.

When i restart the device now, it shows me the menu where i can only pause or continue. If i continue, the i see the menu again, after that the google logo and the device restarts again, in a endless loop.

I was able to restart the Mobile in the fastboot mode again by pressing the power and volume down button, but when i try to redo the flash process, it only writes the bootloader on the mobile, with no change at all. At the end of the install process it shows me the message :

Error: Failed to execute 'claimInterface on USBDevice': Unable to claim Interface.

Rebooting the laptop and powering off the mobile with reconnecting it helps not and brings the same message after trying to do the flash process again.

I tried also the Chromium Browser with the same result.

Is my Mobile broken now? Is there a way, to restart the entire Flash Process?

Is there something i can do or is my Mobile broken now?

Do you have other tabs/windows open? If so, close everything but the installation. Something else has claimed your device already, so close everything else.

I tried several times with a clean setup - shutdown the laptop, power off the mobile, restart laptop, connecting the mobile, power on the mobile and reboot in fastboot mode. Even after that, the flash process start not from the beginning, but writes only some files, like the bootloader.

I even tried to reset the entire brave history, clear cache etc. I looked that there was only one windows with the installer open.

Is there not a way to restart the entire flash process from the beginning?

After the awesome help of matchboxbananasynergy we could fix the problem and graphene os is now installed on my google pixel 7 pro :)

I reinstalled the laptop with debian 12 Bookworm, Gnome Desktop and the Chromium browser.
First i installed the package with "apt install android-sdk-platform-tools-common" as root.
Then i launched the command "echo 0 | sudo tee /sys/bus/usb/drivers_autoprobe" as root.

I started the phone with power on and volume down until i saw the Bootloader Interface.
Then i connected the phone trough a USB2.1 -> USB C Cable and started the flash process.

Beacause i unlocked the bootloader in an earlier try, there was no need to do that again.
After that, i started the flash process.

I couldnt see any progress bar, but this time i let the phone connected until i saw the Message :
"Flashed cheetah-factory*.zip" to device. Its important to not restart the device when the fastbootd Menu comes, as this was the error i had made.

We locked the bootloader with the button in the graphene os installer and after that, on the phone.
We checked the Hash Value to be sure that the right image was installed and after that, Graphene OS was finally
installed.
