AffiliateAnthony I was thinking of using Notion with network access turned off. I'm curious if it's ok to use it like this and if any of you use it this way. If not, what are some great Notion alternatives that you guys use?
matchboxbananasynergy AffiliateAnthony Notion very likely will require an Internet connection. How would you use it without network? You'd need network to login and you can't really use it offline. That said, it depends on what kind of functionality you're looking for. We might be able to provide an alternative that fits your needs.
casualmilkenjoyer AffiliateAnthony Probably missing features you want in Notion, but I like Joplin for keeping notes and lists on my phone. It does an encrypted sync to cloud or local storage so I can access it on other devices and for backup purposes.
Skyway If your referring to antivirus there's this worth reading . https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/6085-which-antivirus-on-grapheneos
doffactory Try out Anytype, a privacy-preserving version of Notion. Not so developed though, bit might be interesting
[deleted] casualmilkenjoyer I couldn't use Joplin in the end. The encrypted file naming function made it difficult to discern content among hundreds of files. Unless the Dev has heeded User requests to change this?
[deleted] casualmilkenjoyer. My issue was using Joplin with Nextcloud. Joplin always saved files in uuid format rather than plain markdown. I no longer use Nextcloud and hence no longer use Joplin.
