Stuck at "unpacking product"

Thanks in advance for the help. I just purchased a brand new Google 6a along with a brand new HP chromebook. I hooked the phone up to do the web installer. Unlocked the bootloader without issue. Downloaded the firmware and started the install process. The phone rebooted a few times and then it got to Fastbootd where the installation process stalls. The bar is stuck at around 30% and it says unpacking product. I've left it to do it's thing for over an hour and it just doesn't go any further. Please help. Thank you!

V8SSeries Are you using a USB-C to USB-C cable, ideally the factory one from Google?

It's likely a USB connectivity issue, or possibly a lack of free storage space on your Chromebook. Make sure that you have at least 32 GB free.

Try again using another cable. Return the phone directly to the bootloader interface (fastboot mode), plug in the cable, and then flash release again.
