SBC-XQ on GrapheneOS

Hello,

Quick and simple question for which I couldn't find any information in this forum. Is GrapheneOS supporting SBC-XQ for bluetooth connections?

I believe that depends on the hardware of the device you are using. On my Pixel 7 running GrapheneOS:

AAC is the one I am using. I have never changed Bluetooth codecs, so I believe it is the default
SBC or Opus could be optionally selected instead
Qualcomm aptX, LDAC, and LC3 are all grayed out (not supported)

Right, depending on the hardware. My headset is capable of using the SBC-XQ codec (which is the high quality version of SBC), however I couldn't find any information about GrapheneOS being able to use it (LineageOS can for example). In developer settings I can only see SBC. But I guess this is just the standard aka bad quality version of the SBC codec.

Old thread, I know, and you probably already realized that there is no SBC-XQ here. Lineage has it, and I don't know why Graphene does not. Would be amazing of course, but I'm not sure if it's gonna happen.
Just a few days ago, I realized even my Airpods pro 2 could switch to SBC-XQ, and it sounds quite nice. I'm even prefering it over AptX with my Focal Bathys (AptX adaptive is not supported on any OS sadly)

Maybe there's a reason why it's not supported, Graphene is a well thought out OS.

I reckon it is still the case that GrapheneOS does not support SBC-XQ? It would be a major bump in quality for virtually all Bluetooth hardware, though.
