Problems with download saves...

I have downloaded several GIFs and none of them actually animate. They are ultimately just a screenshot.

I also have no tools to help with downloading tools. I find myself simply left with the tools any given web site offers. Which clearly suck.

Anything offered that can help with this ?

I am not sure what you mean. Would you care to elaborate?

Could it be that you download the gif correctly but your gallery app doesn't animate it? Maybe try another app to open the file or copy it to another device where you know gifs open correctly to test this.
