graph01 After updating to Android 13, my Screen Lock app no longer works. In the settings under "operating aids", a note appears when assigning rights that this is not possible due to security restrictions. With version 12 this setting was possible.
lberrymage graph01 Does that app use accessibility services? If so, that may be the issue: https://blog.esper.io/android-13-deep-dive/#restricted_settings_appop. Android 13 restricts "sideloaded" apps from using accessibility services without the user going out of their way to grant them. To do that: The user can then go to the app info settings for the app in question, open the menu, and then press “allow restricted settings” to unblock access to the app’s accessibility service.
graph01 lberrymage That was exactly the problem! I made the adjustment and now the app works again. Thanks a lot! Is it planned to integrate this function in the OS? So that you double tap on the screen to close the display? In Lineage this is possible by tapping on the Starus bar. So you can very quickly turn off the screen without pressing the physical button.
lberrymage graph01 Glad you got it working. As far as I know there are no plans to add that functionality to the OS.
