Google Camera not supported

I have a Pixel 7 Pro running Graphene, with Aurora Store as my source for Play apps.

To get to the page for Google Camera, I go to the web page and then 'Open in app' to open in Aurora. However, when I hit install, it says 'App not supported'.

Why might this be?

Hello mortuary_jab! Have you enabled Open by default links within the App Info of Aurora Store?

Is it only Google Camera Play Store Link, or do you have this issue when trying to open links to install them via Aurora Store.

treequell Hi! I have enabled that now, though I get the same error. It seems to be specific to Google Camera as I have been able to install other apps the same way.

Do you have GmsCompatConfig installed under the Google Play Store section inside the "Apps" Graphene app?

Been a while since I've installed the Google camera app so don't remember the exact process. There was a bit of trial and error involved on my part.

I did find a lot of good info on these boards though. Try searching Google camera in these discussion boards.

I don't have other Google Play installed, and I'm using the Google camera.
There was something else I had to do to use the preview function in the camera app, but otherwise I have storage scopes set up for Google camera and can view using my gallery app.

What version of Aurora Store are you on ? There was a recent update that did not allow me to download stuff similar to your issue. I deleted and installed previous version 4.2.3 and can download again after setting up the open by default links in the app info. Double checked and I have access to the camera app. Good luck !

billinmtl Thank you, remembered I did recently update Aurora. I uninstalled but was having issues reinstalling via Droidify. Went to f-droid to grab the APK for 4.2.5 and I've been able to install the camera.
