I second Jitsi - excellent team behind that service from what I can tell. I trusted them before, but the interview on Watchman Privacy podcast cemented it
Never had to use on GOS, but don't see why it wouldn't work.
No need to install anything whatsoever, all done through browser.
Another option could be Brave Talk. Same idea.
I would never in a million years install or run Zoom on anything. If invited, I just send a Jitsi link back and confess "technical problems". Those being Zoom "technically" misrepresenting (lying) on a dozen occasions about all thinga directly pertaining to one's privacy and security.
