Apps Running in background

If I don't want a profiles apps running while I'm logged out of the profile, is there anything I can do if I toggle off the 'run in background' when I set up the profile?

d9780 If you disable the toggle that allows a secondary user to continue running in the background, that means as soon as you switch away from that user, the user will get logged out, encrypted at rest, and none of the apps in it can run in the background.

How do I disable this toggle if I didn't do so when I created the user? Can I still do it?

d9780 Yes, you can disable it at any time. In your owner profile, open Settings > System > Multiple users, and select the user you want to prevent from running the background. You'll find the toggle there.

Thank you. I was not looking in the admin profile/that was the problem. All good now!

IDK. I think I asked tree in a reply to a different thread. I'm not exactly proficient in this stuff. I'll keep an eye on it going forward.
