my downloaded app to REC basic notes is simply ''Voice Recorder'' via splend apps via the G Play store. Recently developed a stoppage with note ''must turn on google services'' yuck, and everything de-evolved form there. Which prompted this search. I do turn on G Play on my owner app to update apps, never made the jump to github, obtanuim etc.

turn on one time both GP and GPlaystore, get my rec's off of current app, transf to storage
start afresh with the new REC app
- Should note, I want to do with new app what I used to be able to do with ''Voice Recorder'' via splend apps , download new app, get preferences started, dismiss all permissions including network, save microphone. REC, review later as needed
This is for light recordings such as basic REC of bird sounds, quick voice notes for an aging memory,or emergency like if stopped by LEO for a traffic ticket. Which hasn't happened for 30yrs + thank goodness
