Finnicky Lock screen widget for Audiobook player

HI there,
I listen to a lot of audiobooks with "Smart Audiobook Player".

When I switched to Graphene a while ago, I noticed that the lock screen widget to play/pause the currently active audio track, or to fast forward a bit, was a little different compared to my previous phone (Huawei P Smart, I think).

The visual aspect doesn't bother me. The issue for me is that the Play/Pause button is very sensitive, so that if I'm more than a millimeter off of the button (that isn't that big to begin with) the "unlock" subscreen pops up, and asks for my PIN. Especially in unexpected situations, such as when someone tries talking to me or I have to quickly shut off my audio, this gets annoying quickly. I then have to hit the back button and try hitting the pause button again.

Is there a way to edit the lock screen widget somehow so that the pause button is bigger or at least that it gives me a few tries before asking for the PIN?

Can't really give you the answer you're asking for, but I think that is part of the AOSP design, so it's unlikely to be within the purview of GOS. So you'll probably have better luck with asking the dev if they can tweak the lockscreen widget instead — especially since they are still actively developing the app and responding to questions and feedback based on Play Store reviews.

And for what it's worth, I personally find my headphone controls a more reliable way to play/pause than the lockscreen widget.
