Which closed source apps do you use on a daily basis? For me, it's Pocket. I am a premium Pocket user. I tried almost all other open and closed source alternatives but nothing comes close to Pocket. The way it converts webpages to article views and remove all the ads, blank spaces and other distractions is mind blowing.

    All Google app

    Tools: ApkToolM, ZArchiver, MiXPlorer.
    Games: Rusted Warfare (my favorite)
    KeyBoard: GBoard (With network off)
    Must-have wallpaper app: Freshwalls :)

I don’t have any favorite closed source app since the ones I have installed are used out of necessity (e.g. WhatsApp).

However, on a daily basis, I use WhatsApp (which is not that bad compared to other messaging apps) and the Google Play Store.

      Pure Writer, Obsidian (publishing)
      AutoTagger (mp3, FLAC tag editor)
      Google Maps

I have three closed source apps on my phone:

Amazon Appstore - Solely for BubbleUPNP.

BubbleUPNP - I have not found a better UPNP app for streaming music to my audiophile Blue Ray player.

My credit union app - Self a explanatory, and doesn't require Google Play Services so I'm hopeful they'll offer it one day outside of the Play Store in light of the Aurora Store problems.

Nine Folders - An app for accessing all of my work emails and calendar, which sadly runs outlook. I'm looking to eventually ditch this app (which no longer is updated) and move to DavMail server.

I try to avoid them as much as possible, generally because there are better alternatives, but sometimes there are things that either you download the closed source app or you don't have it at all.

The applications of popular services like my bank, food delivery, google stuff. All closed source

God forbid anything related your employment or education requires an app of some kind, those are always closed source and does who knows what....

I avoid Closed Source apps as much as possible.

Unfortunately, however, there are no Open Source banking apps. Unfortunately, I have installed this garbage (with Sandbox Google Play Services)

I love to gamble on the stock market. My friends love Xbox, and I gamble on the stock exchange just like in Casio. Unfortunately not very good for privacy either.

      Total Commander
      Spotify
      Vivaldi
      Google Camera

        Discord
        Deezer
        Spotify
        Magic Earth (my favourite)

        freezet Google Camera

        Why?
In GOS there is already a camera feature. It produces good pictures

I have two closed-source apps on my phone but neither are my favourite.

Headphones - Sony, for my BT headphones. This is required to change headphone settings. It's disabled until I need it which is perhaps once or twice a year.

PC Financial / PC Optimum. Credit card/loyality. I cash in the points for "free" groceries. Invasive as F but I can't afford to not have those points.
