Having trouble with Profile Notifications

I am reposting this issue with the Pixel 7 tag, sorry about that, I am new here.

I recently installed Graphene OS and explored the OS. I really like it. The battery life is incredible, and there are some features that I love.

However...

I have two profiles (my Owner profile and my Google profile)

The Owner profile is my main profile and does not have any Google services.

The Google profile has Google services installed in order to run apps that require Google services.

What I am trying to do is receive notifications on my Google profile that get received on my Owner profile.

For example, I am in my Google profile, and then someone on WhatsApp sends me a message on my owner profile. Then, I want to receive the notification on my current (Google) profile.

NOTE: I have enabled the Send Notifications to Current User option in my Google profile. But this does not seem to work. I have disabled the Google profile from working in the background (For obvious reasons, as it has google services installed), but even enabling background in the Google profile does not change anything.

Please, let me know what I can do, thanks!

PatzEdi have you enabled send notification to current user in non google profile ?

Go to Settings and search for "Android system"

From there, to go Notifications and make sure notifications are enabled.

Skyway Ok, so now, it seems like my owner profile does receive notifications from my google profile, but my google profile does not receive notifications from my owner profile. It is very strange!

Edit: Not sure if its reliable though :(

Please let me know if you can on what I can do, this feature would be very useful to me, as I have whatsapp on my owner profile and receiving notifications about it on my google profile is what I need. Thanks!

Is it only WhatsApp or is it all notifications?
Do you get notifications as normal while in owner profile ?

I would like all notifications in general, but I was just saying that WhatsApp is important for me to know when I receive a message while on a different profile.

But yeah, no notifications work.

I tried with other apps as well, but none of them work.

Yes, I do get notifications as normal when in Owner profile. All notifications work fine, but for some reason they arent being forwarded to the Google profile

Settings >notifications > notifications on lock screen .
See if don't show any notifications is checked if it is change it .

Skyway Thank you so much! I do not know why I did not think of this earlier. This did it for me, notifications now work perfectly from one profile to another.

spiral All notification permissions were given to Android System, so I think the problem was what Skyway said

I assume it was turned off for privacy ?
The hide silent conversation option will say which app. Has a notification but no subject of the notification while locked .
