Libretube Issue

Seems there is an issue with LibreTube. Message crops up:

"initial player response is not valid". There is a ticket raised already.

This issue could be in response to YT's crackdown on the unauthorized use of their service. The Invidious servers were also targeted in the last month or so.

In the meantime, hop over to NewPipe and download their app if you haven't done so already on F-Droid, Droidify etc.

Did you try switching instances? I tried it and some of them works currently. (although, videos don't load as fast as newpipe :P)

Libretube seems to be behaving itself. I reinstalled it via Obtainium, and used the v7 apk rather than the v8. It is behaving much better, selected a variety of instances without any problems. The only gripe is that comments seem to loop as you scroll down the page.
I'll keep an eye on it in future, but in the meantime, I think we can consider this to be resolved.
