No mobile data? (pixel 6a)

My 6a is only giving me WiFi data. 0.0MB of data used since GOS install. Just came from a 3a, so I'm familiar with GOS overall.

I've tried the following:

VPN off, and then completely uninstalled.
WiFi calling on, or off.
Data Saver on, or off.
5G, LTE.
Roaming on/off (though I'm downtown in a metro area)
Rebooted after each measure taken.

Could this be a 6a problem ? (and not a GrapheneOS problem)

Any troubleshooting suggestions?

Interesting. I am having a similar problem with mobile data but only when the kill switch is enabled. Cannot connect to VPN and no traffic over cellular. But I am using the Android 13 beta.

I've had a similar thing happen to me. Settings all had mobile data as being on. It recognized my SIM card and even displayed my carrier name. I had to go into settings -> Network & Internet -> Internet -> Carrier name gear icon -> turn off mobile data, then turn on again.

This has happened to me multiple times on Android 12 over the past few weeks (my phone is new and I'm new to GOS).

Update: I fixed this by following some steps suggested by Google Pixel Support

Settings -> System -> Reset Options -> Reset Wifi, mobile & Bluetooth

I didn't even need to reboot... my mobile data started working immediately. I do have a physical SIM.
