Apps not shown in overview anymore

since the last update when i swipe up from the bottom the opened apps arent shown most of the time.
they appear to be closed, but if i launch them from the homescreen they are in the same state i left them.

It will be looked into to see if it's something we can fix downstream.

I occasionally get an alert which reads "Launcher has crashed - Wait/Close/etc"

After this, I am unable to launch any currently open apps. This happens in two user profiles - one which is running Nova Launcher and another which is using the stock AOSP launcher. Sometimes I'm able to use my phone for several hours before this bug pops up and sometimes it comes very soon after a reboot. I'm rebooting several times a day at this point.

I'm also running a Pixel 6a TQ3A.230605.012.2023061402 but have not noticed this launcher bug, although I use this device less than the Pixel 7.

@matchboxbananasynergy please let me know what other information I can provide, if any.
