Some questions about profiles

Will a running VPN get isolated to the profile running it, or will the whole system's traffic go through it?

1a. If VPNs are isolated, can I use multiple VPNs simultaneously?
Will my background apps(other than FCM) keeps running even when I'm in another profile(they have unrestricted battery ofc)?

2a. Will regular "optimised battery usage" apps get limited when I'm in another profile?

1) Isolated to the profile where that VPN is set up. Not whole system traffic.

1a) Yes. When multiple profiles with VPN are open each use their own VPN simultaneously.

2) Yes, when multiple profiles are open.

2a) They may or may not be. It doesn't depend on user profiles. OS may kill them at some stage for battery usage.

I don't think the apps on user profiles keep running in the background if you exit (not switch) from the profile by long pressing on the power button and selecting the option from there.
