widgets don't "stick" for the second user profile

to duplicate, install a widget on the screen for the second user profile, switch back to Owner, switch back to User, widget disappears. Running latest GrapheneOS (build number ends with 60700) on Pixel 7

tried with the Simple Calendar Pro and Forecastie

same here, pixel 6a. tried the geometric weather and clock widget, both disappear when ending session and logging back in

Having the same issues here.

These annoyances and inconveniences are making me think again if Graphene really is for me? I'm complicating my setup, taking a lot of extra steps. And then turns out the shit I want to use doesn't really work as it's supposed to.

Scratch that - I am suddenly experiencing this on a Pixel 7 TQ3A.230605.012.2023061402

After ending a Secondary User's session and then entering it again I find that my widgets are gone, forcing me to reestablish them.
