I uninstalled/uninstalled updates on all GPS things

Are there any apps I need to reinstall? I heard that I need to reinstall some apps for that to take effect. Do I need to factory reset my phone to completely remove GPS or is using Apps fine?

GPS == Global Positioning System.

Signal is the most known one. It checks for the google services only once, so if you installed it after you will need a reinstall for it to fall back to its own notifications implementation.

For all other apps...just continue using them as is and see if any problems show up.

Just because it doesn't present issues doesn't mean it's not using the remnants of GPS, right?

No, Molly-FOSS does not follow this rule.

If you install Molly-FOSS, it will always use its own websocket for push notifications, regardless of whether you have Google Play Services installed or not.

It often happens to me that I do not understand or completely misunderstand questions that are asked in this forum.
