I came across this company called Privoro which takes a different approach to smart phone security and I wanted to see what GrapheneOS developers and users think of it.
Their approach is to create external hardware in the form of a case that performs the security functions that an in-built Secure Enclave security chip would normally provide. They state that their approach is advantageous because it is best to separate security features (private keys, cryptographic operations, etc.) to be held/performed off the same SoC as all other processing.

Also, it provides camera blocking and audio masking to prevent environmental data from being obtained off an already compromised device:

Would this provide any extra security than what a Pixel running GrapheneOS offers? Or is this just a gimmick?
