Are Vanadium WebApps more secure than native apps?

Recently I am trying to replace some apps that I install with Aurora (twitter, reddit - using it casually to follow interesting projects) with Vanadium WebApps.
Are WebApps generally considered to be more secure and private than native apk installs? At least system-fingerprinting should be more contained.

If I install 2 WebApps, are they completely isolated from one another? (Own cache, cookies, "sandbox" in general) so that one can not know how many an which WebApps I have installed?

[deleted] It seems to me one should not only compare best case scenarios (well-written dedicated app vs. Vanadium) but additionally consider the probabilities of worse case scenarios (badly-written dedicated app vs. Vanadium).
Hardened Malloc is a biggie IMHO, and should a properly-located and identified web site be contaminated with hidden badware, HM may become your best friend.
IMHO another general principle would be KISS - use Vanadium and bookmarks.

[deleted] Beyond what's been answered in this thread it should be worth noting Web Apps are just normal browser tabs with their own screen to run separate from Vanadium, but are still part of the browser.

Browsing history is kept when you use a web app. So for example: if you browse a Twitter account through the saved web app and then type the username of it in Vanadium, it will appear in the suggested bar as your history.
Web apps use the sandbox provided by Vanadium, it is different to an OS sandbox provided to an Android application so your Vanadium settings would control a website's permissions instead more than the OS settings. Web apps can see a lot less than a normal app would provided you have the right permissions set anyway. But, like the link you was sent, an application may provide better security/privacy when done right.
Web apps are not their own instances of Vanadium, but their own tabs inside your Vanadium install: If you are logged in to an account on two web apps and then change to the website of the other app by a hyperlink in one, it will open that page signed into the account you used on the other app.

If you want to isolate your Vanadium browsing from your web apps, then Incognitio mode or using a separate user profile does it better.

Thank you for the reply and the link! Thought there might be more insight compared to your original post from one year ago now. I imagined WebApps do a little more than just a normal browser tab in some way.

To clarify: By WebApps I mean the "Install App" button in the options menu, that basically puts a browser tab on the home screen. But maybe ist just a normal browser tab after all :D

I'm gonna check some more resources about "WebApps" and their behavior in general.
