Support for non-Gregorian calendars?

Default stock ROMs of many manufacturers include the option to add a 2nd calendar (Hijri, Chinese calendar, Persian calendar, ...)

Are there plans to add this? It's just basic date conversion scripts which have many implementations of them freely available.

avidgrapher GrapheneOS does not come with a Calendar app. I suppose you are referring to the Date & time settings in Settings > System?

If such functionality were added to AOSP, then it would certainly be added to GrapheneOS. I regretfully doubt that such a feature would be added by the GrapheneOS team themselves.

Yes. I'm not referring to any calendar app. I'm referring to viewing dates as part of localization (E.g: date shown on widget or lock screen).
