Hey, should I install games on my main Graphene OS account because I see many people have different profiles for (work, games, social media, navigation, entertainment), and could you explain what sandboxing is?, and how to use it?, and I keep getting a pop-up of the aurora store saying Oops, This account is rate limited!

Good day.

Essentially, sandboxing is compartmentalisation. Think of it as a house with rooms. The house is the operating system, so GrapheneOS. The rooms are your apps, each one has its own purpose and is separated from the others. This is done to maintain your security & privacy, so apps don't have access to files they don't need nor should have. This is all done automatically so there is nothing you need to do on your end. If you want an app to have more leeway you can do so by granting them various permissions.

Whether you need or want the additional isolation from profiles is not something I can answer you. A common setup I reckon is to have one "clean" profile, free from the google play store and services while a second one has those components installed to maintain compatibility with some problematic apps.

Aurora store is currently experiencing outages, that's something the devs over there will have to resolve.
