treequell prompter Have you checked whether your mobile carrier supports 4G Calling (VoLTE)? You can test that by switching preferred network type to 4G only. That will block 2G, 3G and 5G. If you can still make calls, then your VoLTE is working.
prompter treequell the carrier supports volte (yesss!) and when switching to LTE only no calls can be made at all
treequell prompter the carrier supports volte (yesss!) You might already know this, but carriers have to support specific devices. So do check that the carrier supports Pixel 6a for 4G Calling. If they do, have a read of this section of the Usage guide: https://grapheneos.org/usage#carrier-functionality. It provides some additional information and troubleshooting tips for GrapheneOS users.
[deleted] prompter My carrier also supports VoLTE but I had to reach to to their support to double check if they support my Pixel device but also if the VoLTE was enabled for my SIM irrespective of any marketing material that accompanied it. The latter turned out to be the culprit for my unable to place calls on LTE only mode as I had to manually enable it with my carrier. As soon as I did the problem went away as per GrapheneOS documentation.
