pxa47108 How to download apps from Play Store like Google Camera, Google Photos and Feeder (RSS) without a Google account which is tied to my identity (phone number, IP) or directly without an account (I heard aurora store is currently not usable).
User2288 A few ways: It used to be that you could use aurora. Now to use aurora you have to make it the default opener for google app links (play.google.com), find the app's page link in play store website in a browser, click the link and click "open in external app" and the app will open in aurora. Now you can install, and for the future you can update it through aurora without having to re-find the page. Read this thread for more details. You could download the app from a website like apkmirror and install it. Once installed then you can use aurora to update it. ( This is not the best method for security as apkmirror could potentially be compromised). Apkmirror gets its apps from the playstore similar to aurora store. There are a few other websites. I prefer apkmirror (when no other option).
