Can find accounts permission be used as identifier?

This question is to do with standard AOSP functionality.

Some apps have permission to 'Find accounts on the device'. Usually because a part of their functionality requires that: e.g., to create Cryptomator vault on Google Drive.

In Settings > Passwords and accounts, some of my accounts, e.g. Google is one - but there are others, are listed with my email address as the name.

Does this mean that apps with this permission (which I can't revoke if they request it), like Cryptomator, can read my email address in the Accounts list?

I'd be glad if somebody could help me understand this better.
