Read an encrypted USB drive with LUKS

Hi everyone,
I've tried to read a LUKS encrypted usb drive with no luck. I have used EDS Lite but it doesn't see the USB plugged in, the OS can't read it so it asks me to format it without any further options, apps cannot access the usb either. Is there any solution? Plus I don't understand why devs haven't already integreted a way to read luks encryption

matchboxbananasynergy By default LUKS does Ext3/ext4 Filesystem partitioning.

NeaUltor So your out of luck on the 6th and 7th gen Pixels.

The drive needs to be formatted in FAT32 or ExFAT for 6th and 7th gen Pixels. What is the filesystem it's using?

For devices older than 6th and 7th gen, the option is only FAT32, by the way.

NeaUltor I'd recommend ExFAT if it's an option for you, since it'll allow you to have files over 4GB.

exfat on luks still shows a prompt to format the USB. It doesn't seem to be detected.
