Possible solutions when not being able to call in a foreign country?

Hi guys,

Leaving for a holiday next week. However, in the past I've had problems with calling/SMS. I wasn't able to do this in a foreign country, while everything works fine in my home country. If I run into this again, what could be possible solutions?

everythingisinverted First you have to enable roaming. If it still doesn't work then go into Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs, and have a play with the options there.

Try toggling 4G calling (VoLTE) on or off (if might need to be off)
Set preferred network type to 5G (recommended)
Try toggling WiFi calling on or off (it might need to be off)
Try manually selecting a different network if the one you are using whilst roaming is not working
Consider allowing 2G
