Hi! I'm considering buying a Pixel 6 so I can use Graphene OS, but I need some information to help me decide. Could someone / some people help?
If you use the three button navigation (instead of gestures), you get 'back', 'home', and 'recent apps'.
In stock Android, when you tap the 'recent apps' button, it lets you flip through each recent app, one at a time. And each one shows a full screenshot image of what you had been doing inside the app when it was last open. So if you had some sensitive information in the browser or a private email loaded in your email app, you will see all of that when you flip through all the recent apps.
Does Graphene OS do the same thing? For example, can you test it out by opening up 2-3 apps and doing something in each of them (for example, open email and load a message), and then hitting the 'recent apps' feature, and then flipping through those recently used apps? Of course you'll see the app names so you can pick which one to switch to. But do you also get a full preview of what was recently loaded inside of each app? Like, could you continue reading the email you were looking at when the email app was open?
I read the official FAQ and watched a few YouTube vids but couldn't find any demo of how this works.
Thanks for any help on this!!
