[deleted] Everybody knows Aurora Store. I have come across a link on their gitlab page https://gitlab.com/AuroraOSS/AuroraStore to an app called AppWarden. When I did a scan, results were interesting and now makes me think more about apps that I'm using. It shows which apps track and log you. You might want to have a look at it too. https://files.auroraoss.com/?folder=Warden/Stable
[deleted] [deleted] Misleading? That it may be, but same as Exodus it gives you a general overview upon which you can make an informed decision on what tool to use. And when it comes to proprietary apps, zero trust should be assumed anyway.
[deleted] [deleted] This scanning is comparable to malware scanning of apps and stuff. It's flawed. The only way to check for those kind of things is to look at the app's source code.
[deleted] Installing and using proprietary apps is a pure, trust me, bro thing. The only way to check them would be to reverse engineer them.
