Hello,
I've been using Graphene Os for about a month now, and I must say that it's great. It is installed on a pixel 6a.
It's smooth, and it feels safe.
Also, the recently introduced phone recording feature is very handy.
The only thing that I miss and that I loved in "iode os" is "battery charge limiter" which was integrated in the rom, and which allows to cut the charge of the phone to a given percentage, and to put it back in charge below a given percentage to make the battery last longer.
This allows a good management of the battery in all transparency, and allows in this case to let it charge during the night without damaging the battery since the charge is totally cut once the maximum desired threshold has been reached.
I could check it with a usb voltmeter, and it really cuts, zero mA...
However, this application requires root access, and I don't want to root my phone, you don't recommend it for security reasons.
The only solution to use this application safely would be that it is integrated into the rom, do you know if there are projects in this direction?
I specify that this application has already been coded by "iode os" which supports all the pixels 3, 4, 5, 6, 6a, here .
For the moment I use "BatteryBot pro" which allows to define an audible alarm once the maximum percentage is reached, but if I don't hear it, it continues to charge. Not very practical !
A very big thank you to the "Graphene OS" team who developed a very fluid, practical and secure system.
