Possible fingerprint graphic issue for only one user, Pixel 7

I have a Pixel 7 with three active profiles - Owner, User1 and User2. The pins have been entered for User1 and User2 are both are authenticated for use with fingerprint.

While on User1:

Switch to User2
Once inside of User2 but before any authentication has taken place, the "lock" graphic displays
Then, shortly after and as expected, the "fingerprint" graphic takes its place, signalling that User2 is ready to accept a fingerprint
Log in to User2 by fingerprint

Once inside of User2:

Switch back to User1
Once inside of User1 but before any authentication has taken place, "lock" graphic displays

Expected:

the "fingerprint" graphic to display

Actual #1:

The "lock" graphic displays indefinitely
If I fully place my finger onto the "lock" graphic as if actually trying for fingerprint authentication, the number pad displays, ready to accept a pin
If from the number pad I swipe back, the "fingerprint" graphic is now visible
User1 becomes able and ready to accept a fingerprint for authentication

Actual #2:

The "lock" graphic displays indefinitely
Slightly touch the edge of the "lock" graphic
"Fingerprint" graphic is now displayed and User 1 becomes able and ready to accept a fingerprint for authentication

I am not able to reproduce this on P6. I have never noticed this behavior on P6 or P6a. I have used P7 for a few days and noticed this immediately.

Can anyone reproduce?

This issue for me has morphed. Now, when switching back to User1, fingerprint unlock is sometimes completely disabled.

I have also noticed that now, if the fingerprint graphic shows up on User1 and hasn't been disabled, it will show up after the screen has gone dim, showing the always-on display.

Again, this is for one profile ONLY, and of the GOS devices I own is only happening on P7.

I have figured out the problem and want to report it for anyone's reference.

I initially added one fingerprint to User1. This fingerprint wasn't great, I wasn't having great a great hit rate with it.

I recall reading here once that people were adding multiple instances of the same finger with the goal of improving hit rate, and so I another then another. Three total fingerprint entries for Thumb with one additional entry for Index, for four total entries on User1.

After tooling around for hours and wracking my brain I eventually thought to try deleting all but one total fingerprint entry - problem solved.

I can confirm above issue which has been on going since long time ago. Specially when you have a very long password and switches profile often, its really annoying.
Using 1 finger only has its limitations because the phone often misread your finger and fails recognition.
