rhimbo View seen in System -> Apps -> All Apps

This is the place where you can manage all your apps, install, uninstall , disable, enable, manage permissions etc
rhimbo It seems that I get to ‘the same place’ by both of these paths:
Half swipe up on the home screen (to the App Drawer?)
Settings -> Apps -> All Apps
No, its not the same place, app drawer shows only the enabled apps and you cannot do anything there other than opening the apps by clicking on it. If you log press on any app there you will see app info, clicking on it will take you to the app specific section where you can manage that app.
rhimbo So would you disable it to conserve battery life then?
Sorry, I'm not understanding what the motivation would be to disable an app other than resource conservation.
There are some app which we don't use daily but once in a week or month.
Uninstalling the app after its use and when we want it again installing it again is a pain. So instead of it you can disable that app. If you disable an app its kind of you uninstalled the app, the app won't collect any data running background or use your battery. But when you enable it again the app is back how it was there before no need to login or anything.
I keep my banking app disabled all the time, when I want to make any transfer I just enable it complete my transfer and disable it again. You can use this feature to disable the closed source apps so it won't run in the background.
