Change Clock colore

is it possible to change the clock colore? I do not see any setting.
I find the color scheme really difficult.

What do you mean by "really difficult"?

If you have difficulties in reading anything off your phone screen then you could play around with the accessibility settings and boost the contrast for example.

Or is it just you disliking the theme?

Which clock do you mean? The one on your lock screen?

I mean the clock app that has the font white on dark blue background.

Can't you just make it black and white like many other apps?
The phone or contacts app doesn't have such a weird background.

Its the old standard android scheme from aosp. SMS has the same look as well. They can change it yes, but I get that the visuals arent always top priority. Contacts and phone changed from green to black and white in the latest update. So there is hope

They are much nicer now, imo

I have now installed the Google Watch (some Google Apps are really well done) and thanks to the permissions it is not allowed to do anything but notify.
